Our artist rendering.  Clearly we need help.

Innocence Matters is holding two T-Shirt design contests! One for our Courageous Truth Award ceremony and another for our Hungry for Justice raffle.  One design will be selected for each of the shirts. The winning designs will be printed on shirts that will be worn by Innocence Matters staff and volunteers and will be for sale at the Courageous Truth Award ceremony as well as online.

Deadline for submissions:

June 1st, 2012. Designs will be selected by June 4th, 2012.

Prizes:

The winners will receive:

    • 10 free Hungry for Justice raffle tickets (valued at $50) for 10 chances to to win the grand prize (valued at over $1,000)
    • 2 tickets to attend the Courageous Truth Award ceremony (valued at $150)(note: travel and accommodations to attend are NOT included)
    • Public recognition at the event, in our newsletter, which reaches 3500+ people, Innocence Matters Blog (900+), Facebook Pages (1500+), Twitter (200+), and our website. (who could put a price on fame)

Courageous Truth Award T-Shirt Contest:

Each spring, Innocence Matters honors an extraordinary individual who has courageously followed the truth wherever it led him or her, no matter how painful or inconvenient it might have been. The recipient’s efforts bring us closer to the truth and inspire us all to be better people. For more information on the award and last year’s recipient Jennifer Thompson, please visit our Courageous Truth page or Picking Cotton.

Guidelines for the Courageous Truth Award design:

  • We are looking for a lasting image, symbol or logo to represent the concept of “Courageous Truth” and will strongly favor designs that include a symbol that we would be inclined to use at future annual CTA events.

Hungry for Justice T-Shirt Contest:

Each spring, the folks at Innocence Matters get a little hungry for some justice.  We figure there are a few others out there with an appetite so each year we collect a great package of gift certificates from our restaurant sponsors and hold a raffle where the lucky winner gets over $1,000 worth of certificates for dinner for two!  The drawing is held at our Courageous Truth Award ceremony.  This year we thought it would be cool for our volunteers to wear t-shirts with a new Hungry for Justice symbol or logo while selling the raffle tickets.  To learn more about the raffle and the grand prize, please visit our Hungry for Justice page.

Guidelines for the Hungry for Justice design:

  • We are looking for a fun, but tasteful image to convey the anticipation of enjoying something good! Maybe even a little impatience. The ideal design will connect the concept “good living” with justice/truth.

Innocence Matters Logo

The “Innocence Matters” logo must be incorporated into the design, which will be printed on black shirts so please design accordingly.

Please email all designs to spenser@innocencematters.us. Thank you and good luck!
